“Excellent in all aspects!”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

The hotel is located in the Muslim Qtr, walking distance to all the major sites. Al-Aqsa is practically footsteps away. Shops, restaurants all close by, never had to leave the Old City. Helpful staff, always there to point in the right direction. Free Wifi, and the connection is great, even in the rooms. Rooms are pretty small, though clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Family group stayed late febtuary 2012 for 3 nights.5 sleeper deluxe was a small room with 2 double bunks and one double bed crammed in.It was winter and hot water in shower was erratic supplied by an instant hot water device connected to shower head which did not work properly.
Floors in bathroom and room were tiles that were very cold in winter.Small shower cubicle with slippery floor and no hand rails.Dangerous for frail and elderly people. No soap holders or toiletry rack in shower.Hold soap and facecloth in one hand while trying to shower.
Linen and towels fair condition.
Breakfast basic no frills, foam cups and plastic plates.
Position in the old walled city is good.Views good.Wifi an advantage.

I booked a single room (February 2012) and stayed for 3 Nights. Breakfast was very nice with a great view on the Dom and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Being in the old city is great as whatever you need you just have it right around the corner.
The room was very clean, as well as the bath. Personel was helpful at all times and it has a very nice atmosphere.
The water was not that hot, which surely isn't an issue during sommer, but could be an issue during winter time...
I'd go there again for sure.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Located in the Muslim quarter it is exceptionally clean. Front desk staff were helpful. Felt very safe there. Rooms are not large but are very clean. The highlight would be the breakfast on the roof top. What an amazing way to wake up every day and see the sun rise!

This is a nice place to stay if some one likes to be in the heart of Jerusalem Old City near Temple mount. Reaching there is also easy as this is near to Damascus Gate. The ambiance is good, staff is courteous and breakfast was a blend of arab-israeli-western food. Hot water is available round the clock and roof top restaurant is an added attraction. Wifi is free but using PC is a bit costly. The pictures shown on their website are real. Overall no problem hotel.
