We stayed at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem in May for a total of 5 days.
The location is great, 1 block from the King David Hotel and within walking distance of the Old City. In addition, the service was outstanding and the staff was very helpful and provided excellent advice. We decided to take a room on the executive floor and believe that tthe upgrade is well worth the extra cost. (complimentary drinks, snacks and access to computers) Special thanks to Issam Habash, the reception manager and the staff at the Executive Lounge.
The hotel is not five stars but an excellent hotel for the price.

I have just completed another wonderful stay at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem. Yehuda Kraus (GM) Marcel (Guest Relations) and the entire staff of the Dan Panorama make staying at this hotel delightful. The location is ideal. I have stayed at the hotel many times over the past 6 years. Over the past few years the staff has become extremely friendly and helpful. They are there to serve you and make your stay ideal. For the price and the location -- the Dan Panorama is a real steal.

From the greetings of the General Manager Yehuda Kraus and Guest Relations Marcel Salomon to the reception desk a truly service oriented family run hotel. The lounge offers a warm atmosphere and an exceptional repast as well as an opportunity to catch up on e-mail. Truly helpful service and advice for tours provided at reception. The room had an awsome view with great amenities. This is a hotel that caters to groups

Mr. Marcel I. Solomon, Guest Relations, greets groups of visitors. He is an ambassador extraordinare! The hotel staff is eager to accomodate the special needs of its guests. The food is good, considering that it is exclusively buffet-style. You can drink tap water at this hotel. The rooms are clean and adequate.

Our group of 24 people just got back from an 8 day tour of the Holy Land. We spent the first 4 nights in the Dan Panorama. It was a terrific place to base ourselves in Jerusalem.

The check in was seamless, as they were fully prepared for our group, and had envelopes with our keys, rooms, info, etc ready when we got there. That was very nice not to have to wait after such a long journey from the USA.

The room was very nicely appointed. The AC worked well, bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed and was nicely updated. We were very comfortable there for our 4 nights.

The restaurant was terrific! Breakfast and dinner was included, and they were served buffet style. If you couldn't find something to eat, you must be very picky. Breakfast had hot items, cold cereals, fresh fruits, salads, breads, yogurts, coffee, tea, etc. A nice way to fill up for the full day ahead. Dinner was always varied and plentiful.

The huge lobby was very nice for our group to meet and gather. We walked to the Old City each night and it was easily a 15 minute stroll.

The only negative was the hair dryer in the bathroom. I did not bring a hair dryer because the hotel indicated that they are in each bathroom. Well, everyone complained that they did not blow very hard at all, and did not work well. Ours had a broken hose, so did not work unless you held the hose together with one hand and tried to dry your hair with the other. There are spare hairdryers at housekeeping, but none were available until the 2nd day. We got one and kept it for our full stay. So......bring your own hairdryer.

Otherwise, this was a great hotel. We loved it!
