I travel the world. The experience I had at Spring Hostel has been by far the most UNPLEASANT experience I have EVER had in 25 years of travel. Will not stay here again. Do yourself a favor...PLEASE stay somewhere else. Owner turns chairs in lobby sitting area upside down each morning and makes lobby area very customer UNFRIENDLY. When I went to sit in chair in lobby he immediately stopped me and advised me I could not sit down in lobby and would not be able to until late in the afternoon. He basically ran me out of the sitting/ reading area in the lobby...EXTREMELY unpleasant and rude. Not sure how he is able to stay in business with such a rude attitude toward his guests. Guests across the hall from my room slammed doors all day and night long for 2 consecutive days. Nothing was done about this. Very unpleasant experience. DON'T stay here.

After booking a room for 2 nights I arrived the Spring Hostel having heard the not so nice things said about the place. This tendancy has not changed. After being charged a (very) high season price of 250 NIS for a single room you would expect some comfort. The person at the desk had only two issues: Pay the money and check out is at 10 am. That`s it.
The room was clean with A/C and fridge, but no towel or soap at the sink was there.
I booked the place mainly for the pool acces. This was strangely enough only open from 3 pm to 9 pm. No explanation was to be given when questioned.
Like stated other places the Spring Hostel seems to fokus on mainly domestic travelers, and being from Europe this was not a very nice feeling.
On my day of departure I asked for my luggage to be stored until my bus departed (willing to pay for it). This was NOT possible, and on my way out of the door, not so kind words were said about me from the reception desk. A behavior that is beyond any way of running any kind of accomodation.
All in a very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful place, and I would not recomend it for any age group or gender.

Although our lonely planet claimed it was a very clean hostel, we discovered that was not the case (anymore?). The shower and bed were covered with some hairs. The beds were not very comfortable with thin, worn matresses. You have to bring your own towels (we were not aware of this). The pool looked nice, but we have not tried it. The hostel is located close to the bus station, which is helpful. It is a bit further away from the city centre. Unfortunately we had a group of students stay at the same floor, so we didn't sleep much. But this can be the case in any hostel. The reception and common relax area looks very nice. We would not really recommend the hostel. All in all the low price matches the quality.

It's a fine Hostel for youth and adults to stay a couple of days, without much comfort or extra services...
I stayed for two nights and for the price I paid it was enough for me...
The bedrooms are not big, but fine... with private bathroom and frizzer...

one thing not so good is that you don't have a phone in the room...
and the person in the loby wasn't so nice.... (didn't let us go into a firend's room..!)

after all, i insist, that it's a good option for a budget trip... near the bus station and the beach...
