Awesome hotel, but then again it's what is expected from novotel. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms very modern and clean. Crisp white bedding and big screen tv. The breakfast buffet is on another level for excellence with a view of the bosphorus to match, It has an indoor pool and wellness centre which is on par with the best. The traditional hammam is not to be missed given that it is almost half the price of the outside hammam for the same service. If anything, the room service coffee is way too expensive given that the same coffee can be had right outside of the hotel. They do have a kids play area which is a welcome sight along with a bar and big lounge on the ground floor. A few negative points though. Although the hotel is situated right beside the bosphorus the view is obstructed by ongoing construction unless you're on the 5th floor. Amenities and services offered are excellent but it does feel as though the hotel loses out on the human interaction a bit since it's a reasonably big hotel.
I will go back either way.

In Istanbul stars that hotels ranked are not real I had many unpleasant situations.

This hotel is really 5 stars! Great breakfast. Clean rooms! Great view above 3rd floor on the seaside. Very strategic place you can be in Galata bridge in 5 min walk. Free parking is big advantage in Istanbul and here you can enjoyed it.

I truly recommend this place!

I have enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The location is great the rooms are extremely clean and the buffet breakfast is just amazing. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Delica a front desk clerk, gave us all details on how to enjoy Istanbul upon arrival. Thank you Novotel for a memorable trip.

The hotel’s location was really practical for us. The room was modern and clean.The most impressing thing was one of the staff; He’s amazing and very helpful. His name is “Sinan”. I reccomend every customer to ask for sinan :))
He helped us with many things. Taxi, locations,....

We stayed here on our first nights in Istanbul. It is an excellent location from which to explore the city. The breakfast is superb and the rooftop restaurant is a wonderful location to watch the sunrise. The staff is very customer service focused. The only issue I had in the hotel was with my key card and the elevator. I appreciate that the key cards are only keyed to access the floor on which your room is located. However, I had to have my card reformatted four times in two days as it did not work in the elevator. At least three others on the trip had similar issues. Other than that, this is an excellent hotel and would stay there again.

Room tip: 227 overlooks ctyard: quiet/comfortable. First fl rooms near street @ back of hotel. Sounds from trucks/people from restaurants near hotel

The rooms are comfortable quiet and clean. The beds are very comfortable. I wish they gave us a bosphorus view room but either because of the room I booked or due to late night arrival to the hotel we couldn't get a room with good location.

There are restaurants and bars near the hotel. Quite modern and trendy neighborhood.

I asked for a converter adapter from one of the bellboys. He told me that I had to take it from the reception myself. It was weird. When I went to the reception for this I was told that I had to pay for the adapter. It was pretty strange to me. The hotel sells something that was supposed to be offered for free. In addition, the staff refuses to bring it to your room. So I had to pay for an adapter that I used only once in my life and I had go downstairs to get it If I visit again, I will bring my converter plug with me. I still keep the one I bought from the hotel anyway. So take your own adapter with you.

On the rooftop, there is a restaurant that serves breakfast in the morning as well as serving as a stylish and high quality restaurant in the evening.

Our experience was good enough and as expected. Specialy because of the location we will visit again.

Please be informed that if you would booked Superior room type, this room has not got a bosphorus view. We also thank you for complimenting our breakfast offerings.

We charge reasonable deposit amount for adaptor and this amount always deducted on room bill when you returned it back upon check out. I believe most of hotels follow the same process for this kind of request. We will revise our processes in order to improve our service further in the future. Would you please be so kind and contact me directly per mail (see below), so that we can correspond about the adapter request you mentioned. We'd like to get in touch with you in order to resolve this. However, due to your username we are not able to find your reservation. Thanks again for your comments.
