Booked this place in error..or I should say as a result of an expedia company error. Actually booked the more upmarket tom tom suites..and got this place..cirrus tom tom suites..different place..huge difference.

When I arrived there was no one at reception and it took 15 minutes before someone turned up..the guy took my passport .. scanned it.. but never gave it back. A couple of hours later i realised it was missing...went down to get it and it was right in front if him at the reception

The room was on the fourth floor...no lift...and the bathroom was full of mould and stank when the noisy fan was on. The closets full of dust..the towels were soggy with hair on from previous customer i assume...and lastly the shower leaked to the bathroom..so u placed a towel on the floor to soak it...when my room was 'cleaned' that same towel was folded and placed back on the rack..

The cleaning lady knocks randomly to come in to clean the room..when i asked her to come back later she said she couldnt as she couldnt bring the cleaning stuff back up??

We originally wanted to stay at tomtom suites but made a mistake and ended here. (the name says cirrus suites tomtom)

Anyway, the room was small. So small that the door hits the bed while closing. There was a kitchen / living room which went unused. The bathroom was small but okay.

The location is good. Very close to the hustling and bustling Street that connects tunel to taksim square. The small street on which the hotel resides is dirty and ghetto-like.

Some transfers/walking are required if you need to reach the sultanahmet area.
The reception guys are friendly and helpful but struggle with English (which is not a bad thing but might be a problem for some travellers who expect the world to speak their language)

But the price is amazing. So if you are on a budget and need the room just to sleep at night, , this is a good place.

Our room included bathroom and kitchen. It was well decorated and newly furnished. The staff and the owner were very nice and helpful. The nearest metro station is taksim, near there there is like a pedestrian street with a tram in the middle and its plenty of well known shops and restaurants like burger kinf, mcdonalds, starbucks... and the connections with the main touristic spots are very good.

The hotel is magnificent, safe and clean with a good location on Isteklal Street.
And we had such an amazing experience thanks to the staff, who are very joyful and helpful.
The rooms are big and clean.
