Pro
Best of all is the location of the hotel which is near to most attractions...Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and 10-15 min downhill walk to Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar & Eminonu Pier.
The buffet breakfast spread is another good thing about Sura Hagia. It is a combination of western & local cuisine. Love it!
The garden near the lobby is beautiful & a quiet place to sit around to relax after a day of exploring. Didn't get to try the pool & bath though...wish I have more time
The room is sufficient & the deco is bright & lively. Useful information &
instructions on how to use appliances, showers etc are clearly printed & pasted to the wall.
The staffs are very helpful.
There are a number of restaurants near the hotel...very convenient for me to try local cuisines.

Cons:
I am a bit concern of the security as it is accessible from the street and no hotel personal/security at the front door most of the time.
I got a ground floor level bedroom so it is quite worrying for me.
The door handle (outside) loose
& came off when i closed the door on my way out.
House keeping staffs opened your door after one knock. I think they should wait & knock at least three times before coming in to ensure the room is truly unoccupied.
No late check out as the hotel is fully booked most of the time.
The hotel is a bit hard to find as it is tucked into small street. My taxi driver tried calling the hotel but he said they were not helpful. Thanks to google map, he found the hotel.
Have google map ready guys!!!
The bed pealed off a bit but it doesn't affect the overall look of the room though.
The corridor is feels gloomy due to its dim lighting & black wall.

A Turkey 5star hotel, internationally its a 4 star. However excellent location and wonderful helpful staff throughout the hotel. Whether it's in the lobby, concierge, reception, gym, restaurant or even the shops. Everyone was very welcoming. Our room was booked as economy and the disadvantage to that is they put you in the basement with no view. I wouldn't recommend that, however because most of the day we were out of the hotel we didn't mind. So be careful when booking. Location is excellent, 5mins walk from Blue mosque, restaurants, money exchange, McDonald's and many more cafes. 2mins walk to the nearest tram, and atleast 20mins walk from grand bazaar. The hotel had a shisha lounge just next door which is handy and also their own restaurant opposite the hotel.
I'd stay here again, no doubt about it. Also a fine gentleman outside hotel who sell fresh juice, delicious!!!

This hotel is officialy 5 star, but in my opinion is very good 4 star. For a resonable price you stay in nice hotel close to historic center of Istanbul, just few minutes away from Haghia Sophia or Grand Bazar. Clean with a very good breakfast. Optimal for short stay in this megapolis.

Nice breakfast, perfect personal, especially Gino, the garden inside the hotel is the most beautifull place to spend good time in the evening, near the hotel there are most important places in the city.
