Excellent experience at this hotel. Late night checkin was quick and easy. Breakfast was excellent. Maahir was very helpful in guiding us about the area as well as helped us to get a ride to the airport for free with one of the airport shuttles. Whole staff was very friendly. Get to know Mahir, Emre, Oaur and Said. Definitely a 5 start experience.
Choosing the Hampton by Hilton in Istanbul was primarily for its relative proximity to the new Istanbul Airport, which, while still a bit of a distance due to the airport's remote location, proved to be a practical choice. As a Hilton Honors member, I've come to expect a certain standard of quality that the Hampton brand consistently delivers, and this stay was no exception.
The staff at this particular Hampton were exceptionally friendly and warm, enhancing the overall experience of my brief stay. The hotel itself aligns well with what one expects from the Hampton brand: efficient, clean, and reliable. The gym facilities were particularly impressive, well-maintained and equipped.
Although the hotel's location is somewhat remote—not near the hustle and bustle of central Istanbul—it is ideal for those looking for a convenient overnight stay near the airport. In terms of value for money, this hotel hits the mark, offering all the essential amenities at a reasonable cost. It's worth noting that this property is not as modern as some other Hamptons I've stayed in; it feels a bit older but nonetheless maintains the expected standard of facilities.
I would happily give this hotel a five-star rating, considering its affordability, quality of service, and facilities. It's a great option for anyone needing a dependable stay near Istanbul's airport, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
There are not many hotels near the new Istanbul airport and this was one of the closest, albeit a 30min taxi ride for about TL600. Taxi drivers in Istanbul can be tricky so do be careful when negotiating.
The room did its job for our short 1 night layover. It was slightly dated but still well-maintained. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. I liked its location nearby a local shopping mall where we had numerous restaurant options.
There are a lot of wonderful features of this hotel.
1. The room is clean, spacious, and suitable for desk work.
2. The full-choice breakfast menu, which could vary by day, includes restaurant-like dishes such as eggplant salad, mushroom salad, and scrambled egg with tomato (Menemen).
3. The staff are not only amiable and helpful but also respond quickly.
4. Most importantly, I left my personal belongings in the room when I checked out to leave for my country. After my inquiry, the hotel staff searched the room and kindly made an overseas call to tell me that they had found them. I am so grateful for their kindness.
A nice friendly place to stay. Efficient check-in, clean and tidy rooms, plenty of options for breakfast etc. In particular I'd like to call out this hotel for their staff training. There were some interns working and they were enthusiastic, hard working and, most importantly, knew what they were doing and you don't always see that sort of positive attitude. So well done to Cem, the hotel manager and to Can, Ayeh and Alanur. I had a great stay and would defintely come back
