Very friendly and helpful staff who were keen to help in every possible way. The location of this hotel could not be better: There are two tram stops very close which means that getting across the Golden Horn to Takism and Istiklal ( city centre area, full of nice shops and cafes ) is easy. All your major sights are a short walk away. The buffet breakfast is delicious , served in the restaurant with nice views. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my family and friends as well as anyone thinking to visit Istanbul.

Realy enjoyable stay at this hotel. Excellent location for the 'Old City' sights, Very friendly and co-operative staff who would arrange anything you needed and offer advice as well. Hotel is small and not 'Western Style' but very well appointed, clen and actually rather fun to stay in. Free Wi-fi available in rooms which is helpful to plan trips and do research etc. Hotel restaurant was well priced and good quality - again with a Turkish rather than 'Western' flavour. We would certainly return again and happily recommend it to our friends.

Room Tip: Some ground floor rooms (which I don't personally like) but staff happy to talk about what is av...

Stayed here for my mums 80th birthday with my sisters and we were all very happy with the hotel and the service. We booked it due to its location so we could walk to all the main sites which was a huge advantage. All the staff were charming and so helpful and very happy to give us advice about where to go etc. This was great as we had no clue about anything in Istanbul and we were impressed with their English.

The rooms are lovely, well decorated and spotless. My room had the most amazing hamam style bathroom which was a real treat and something I had never seen before.

Buffet breakfast had loads of options andveggies well catered for.

Highly recomended, you will be well looked after.

Tip= If it's available ask for a room with a hamam style bathroom.

Really loved this boutique hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Booked for a romantic break and this was the perfect place, it is on a little street right in the heart of the old town and we had the most wonderful view of Aya Sofia from our room, I really coudn't believe how close it was. So glad we stayed here rather than at one of the big chain hotels, it has a lovely intimate atmosphere and has anthentic Turkish feel to it feel to it due to the decor. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The hotel is a great base to explore the old town and many of the sites are within walking distance.

Really comfy bed, large and well fitted out bathroom and good buffet style breakfast.

Altogether a great place to stay in Istanbul.

This hotel is BEYOND fantastic! A friend and I stayed here fro three nights in mid December 2011, and we had the best experience!

I chose this hotel for its location....and I was not disappointed. As many other reviewers had mentioned the location REALLY is the BEST regarding hotels in the area! It is literally central to EVERYTHING in the old town.

There a many restaurants/ little shops/ and quaint historic narrow cobble stone neighborhoods right outside the doors of the hotel.

We walked EVERYWHERE....even during December when it was cool/cold...but had the luxury of running back to the hotel to grab a bite to eat, freshen up, or the like between visiting the historical sights!

The rooms are of differing size...ours was not huge...but was large enough for us to be comfortable in....and the bathroom was AMAZING!!!! It was almost the size of the room itself...and was filled with opulence and luxury!

This is also a VERY safe neighborhood, and my friend and I walked alone , at night...all the time and felt very secure.

I can not recommend this hotel highly enough for its location in the Old Town Area, great guest relations coordinator (who booked for us our trip to Ephesus one day before we wanted to go) and tickets to the Whirling Dervishes (which unfortunately we did not enjoy- but at no fault to the hotel :) )...and gave us maps and directions to EVERYTHING!

Fantastic city....fantastic hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building and a free upgrade to one of the rooms facing the Aya/Hagia Soph...
