It’s Unfortunate that Café Halic is not open anymore and I did not have the privilege of staying in one of the rooms but did eat here in May 2014.
Our large group of businessmen arrived in Istanbul early one morning and we were taken to Café Halic for breakfast before heading onto our eventual hotel. It was a steep climb up a hill but was worth it when we got there.
We had probably one of the best views in the city and a sumptuous Turkish breakfast served by friendly and helpful staff.
Tasty breakfast lovely views and great service!
Sorry to hear it’s closed!More
