As everyone comments the hotel was well located for some of the major sights, just a short walk to the heart of Sultanahmet, with plenty of cafe's and restaurants in the surrounding area.
The hotel itself is relatively small and has a nice quaint atmosphere about it. The staff were lovely which made you feel instantly welcome, and they would go out of their way assist you. I loved Istanbul, 4 nights there just wasn't enough to explore a vast city with so much history, i will definitely return, hopefully soon and would definitely stay at the Historia again.
