Over all excellent: location very central, stuff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and spacious, breakfast is fresh and a lot of variety, service is great, spot on ....
It's hundred percent over 9 rating... I love this hotel and I will reserve again later in it.

This is my second stay at the Orient Express and I always recommend it to other travellers heading to Istanbul. The price is good, the location is prime, and the staff are always so accommodating and helpful. They also have a wonderful breakfast in the morning and I absolutely adore the charming decor. Great place for couples, families, and friends.

If you want to be at the center of the old part of town this hotel is perfect. Located near In Fatih within walking distance of most of Istanbul old attractions. There are Tram and Metro lines made it convenient to travel further away too.

Room was very clean and size was good.
Overall the room is comfortable and well apportioned.

Breakfast was good and well stocked.

The only consideration is that rooms facing the Main Street with the tram line tends to slightly noisy.

The staff was polite and attentive.

I was in Istanbul for a combined duration of 1 months, staying in several hotels and Airbnb, but this is my favourite one so far. Comparing to other hotel at similar price, you definitely get a better quality to price ratio. For less than 150 lira per night ( through a last minute deals via bookings.com) , I get a double room with a couch and a bath tub, and free breakfast which is pretty good as they offered more variety than the usual bread, jam and olives you get from similar priced hotel. The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk to Gulhane tram Station and Sirkeci Marmaray Station. Shower is great, bedroom is of decent size, heater and air conditioning doors works well. The lobby are lovely and the receptionist speaks English very well and very professional. The only cons is you have to pay extra to get the kettle and tea set.
