Well-appointed, and perfectly located in the touristy part of town. Plenty of restaurant choices, although for variety I'd head to Taksim myself. The reception was never less than friendly, and breakfast, served upstairs with a view or in the elegant downstairs in rainy weather, was adequate, fresh and with tea/ coffee generously dispensed. Only gripe might be the spotty wifi during the stay, but a man was there fixing it and there was good connection in the lobby. Compared to the other hotel I stayed at in the vicinity, Sari Konak was immeasurably superior. If I were to stay in the area again, Sari Konak would be a top choice for a good balance of budget (not strictly cheap, but not four seasons extravagant) and solid comfort.
