We have visited this museum before the current renovation started a few years back. On this visit we saw most of the collection except for the part cordoned off for the renovation.

Allow plenty of time... there is an awful lot of history on display in this museum. And be sure to allow time for some refreshment in the garden cafe!

This would be a five star affair if it weren’t for the ongoing renovation.

Another ancient museum I saw. I'm not much of a historian and archaeologist, but seeing all these valuable monuments in one place is very memorable. I advise everyone to go there.

If you like history and storical artifacts , the time waiting on the line to get a ticket is worth it ! If you decide to go to Istambul to check museums, buy the Card to access all the museums without waiting

I visited here with family. Not sure of the entrance ticket price per person, as I used a museum card.
Was a great experience.

In one word : Amazing !
Floating back into history at all stages, eras & civilizations. The area extent of the old Otoman empire helped diversify the content of the museum.
