We had two rooms - a double and a triple. The rooms were clean, and the triple was very spacious with its own balcony. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. They arranged to get us picked up from the airport in the hotel shuttle for free, and also arranged for our transport back to the airport (this required a fee but it was worth it!). Breakfast was included in the package and it was always fresh, with plenty of variety. The location is very convenient, a mere ten minutes walk from the central area of Sultanahmet. A lovely experience overall, we'd definitely recommend it! (Do make time to explore the small shops nearby, there's an amazing turkish delight shop, and also a lovely place for lamps and souvenirs/decoration pieces etc.)

On a recent visit to the Turkey, we spent two nights at the Siesta a Hotel in Istanbul. Booked by a friend, this hotel would not have initially been on my list of choices, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel is very well situated for the main attractions, being in walking distance to places like the Blue a mosque, the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Market), as well as restaurants and easy meal options.

The hotel was clean, and the service was polite and helpful. The breakfast served was generous and very tasty. The only issue I had was that the hot water ran cold every time I chose to shower, but I survived that

Whilst were visiting, there was a massive dump of snow on Istanbul, which caused quite a lot of chaos with the traffic, so finding transportation out of the area was tricky. No problem to our proprietor, who simple picked up our suitcases and whisked them off to the nearest main road and flagged down a cab. He also went out of his way to ensure that we would be taken care of at the next hotel we visited, so we were very grateful to him.

If you need a clean and easy place to stay in Istanbul the Siesta Hotel is the place for you. Just bear in mind the proximity of the mosques to your hotel - the call to the faithful is rather alarming to the uninitiated in the early hours! And if you are tall, mind your head in the breakfast room - the ceiling beams are very low!

We have stayed in the Siesta Hotel with our little baby for five nights. The room was small, but absolutely perfect and enough space for the baby bed. Beautiful view over a mosque and the sea. Service is nice and friendly. Very good breakfast.
For us it was a great value for the price!

We stayed there for close to a week during our stay in Istanbul. Ideally located in the heart of Sultanahmet area, this one is very close to many tourist attractions. Our rooms were promptly cleaned on a daily basis and the rooms were spacious and looked newly renovated. One downfall was the drain in the bathroom shower did not function properly which caused massive water accumulation under legs during shower time. Also, the daily breakfast was not stellar as it was mainly cold prepped stuff from the fridge and did not change during the entire time we were there. Otherwise, staff is very helpful and courteous and the view on the little Hagia Sophia is just great.
