All we needed was to have a clean room to last us one night! The advertising and claim of a 3 star hotel are as wrong as it can get. Roaches everywhere, smelly towels, stained sheets and pillows, horrible smell of some incense they had burnt to drown out other smells and of course the two cheap night clubs that offered loud music free of charge the whole night! Add the passing trains to the picture and I literally ran out in the morning without daring to sample the breakfast! Stay away!

Room Tip: Please save your money and don't go there. You will definitely get better rooms for the same price elsewhere!

My brother and I stayed here for one night. Firstly, we're not fancy travellers. As long as it's clean, we're happy. The room was dirty and falling apart (the window came off its hinges) and there were stains all over the bedsheets. If we paid $10 a night, it'd be understandable. However, this hotel markets itself as being internationally elegant.

Secondly, the manager sent me a really inappropriate email. I had about 5 minutes of contact with him and don't know him, yet he thought it was okay to comment on my "shape" and "peaches".

Avoid at all costs.

This is a sub-standard, noisy, sleazy 1 star hotel with a nightclub focus. Definitely not a 3 star (as advertised) family oriented hotel. The rooms are cockroach infested. The bathroom & bed linen was filthy. The incessantly loud nightclub music permeates every room - even the furthest from the nightclub. The parallel train line is disruptive to sleep as well. I wouldn't leave my dog here!!

Room Tip: All rooms are subjected to the incessant noise from the nightclub within the Sunhill.

It is a conveniently located hotel on marina, with beautiful view of the sea and the railway track. Since it is on main road, it is easy to spot and reach. The drive to airport may take anything from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on traffic. The top floor rooms offer the best view specially at the sunset. The rooms are well furnished and clean. A restaurant with sufficient choices of dishes is adequate. The neighborhood consists of some casinos and you may find some unsavory characters drifting in and out at odd hours. It could be unnerving, but enough of bouncers placed at the strategic points keep them away.

Room Tip: Top floors offer best view and quiet rooms

Had to stay here for one night as our hotel booking at Kingsbury starts the next day. Horrible horrible experience. My Sri Lankan friend booked it for us and as soon as we walked in and found out that we are foreigners they increased the booking price from £35 to £50 a night. Spoke to a uber driver the next day and realised it's actually £20 per night. This hotel does not even qualify for one star. There were lipstick stains on the sheets and brown disgusting stains on the towels. The whole place smells like smoke even though the no smoking sign is large and visible. The "spa" is as sleazy as one can be and we later discovered it's a "24 hour naughty bar & spa". The hotel also apparently does hourly stay; I can only imagine it's for "naughty" purposes. Toilet seat was falling apart. Shower works. The floor was just dirty. We were in room 202 and the shower area (even though has a partition) leaked and flooded the rest of the toilet each time we shower. Two of the lights in our room weren't working but they came to rectify that. The hotel staffs are friendly and do try to make us feel welcomed. But it didn't feel sincere because they were dishonest about the pricing. They did not honour the booking. Unfortunately this hotel falls short in every sense. It would have been a better stay if there wasn't a sleazy feel over everything.
