We stopped at the Mlesna Tea Castle for lunch after a trip to the tea factory. The food was good and the staff were great! The tea in particular was how I expected it and was a lovely cup of tea! The views from the top of the castle is amazing! Overall was a great experience and lovely romantic ambiance!

It is okay to just see and walk around. They are forceful to get you to buy stuff. Not as pretty as some of the tea estates.

We sat outside and enjoyed the view. We ate and enjoyed rice and curry. The beef curry was excellent due to the quality of the beef in the area (supposedly). A Good experience all round.

Well situated on the way to and from Nuwara Eliya, there are fantastic views from the restaurant over the valleys, mountains, and towards waterfalls. Very clean with great views and space to stretch your legs and eyes after driving the mountain roads. Food is only so-so, but tea was very good. We took our time to relax for at least an hour as some people were feeling car sick, this place did the trick. Prices are a bit high compared to the norm, but it's worth the stop.

Visited with my boyfriend after walking down to Devon Falls. We sat at a table outside with a great view of the waterfall and tea plantations and tried 2 types of tea each. All the teas were delicious and reasonably priced.

Had a look around the shop afterwards, we were offered and provided help looking for the type of tea we wanted and then were left to browse without harassment.

We did not eat anything or ask for a tour of the tea plantation so I cannot comment on those aspects but I would definitely recommend popping in for a cuppa if you are passing that way.
