I would like to express my gratitude to the duty manager Mrs. Byambaa for the great hospitality and made my birthday memorable as possible, who was on duty during my stay. I stayed at Shangri-La Hotel, Ulaanbaatar on 28th of August with my family.
I found out the details from their official Facebook page that hotel is offering a family package. That was a great package every parents should try on their special occasions.

I would like to thank all the staff at Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar for the great service, especially, Davka Mulan. I have to say she is very professional and knowledgeable. She has made my stay at the hotel very pleasant. She has provided me many useful information and quick in response and actions. She is very passionate about her work and this has greatly impressed me.
The room is clean and the gym facilities are great.

Spent a total of three days at the Shangri-La hotel and overall am very happy with the experience. Stayed on the eighth floor overlooking the National Amusement Park. Service was prompt and helpful. The room was larger than expected, with the bathroom being a highlight for me. The breakfast buffet was top notch with a good mix of local and western type foods. The downside of the visit was the Naadam Bar and Restaurant located at the hotel. The food and drinks were excellent but wait time was terrible. Ordered sliders and a beer; beer took almost 10 min to arrive and the food took 35 total min for three sliders. Overall I would most definitely come back keeping in mind to go elsewhere for food.
Cleaning staff was chewing gum when I I was asking to provide a service, it was so unfriendly.
The gym music selection is full of vulgar words - really not professional, we wanted to take a shower but it was so smelly with sticky walls in the shower. No one could give us a clear instruction how to use fitness machines, careless staff without basic English knowledge.
Stressful Parking, had to leave my car far away from location.
this is my first time in UB, we choose Shangrila and we get some confused about the procedure and bad experience with some staff but many thanks to Kai (front desk) to help me solve the problem. Very very appropriate
Who does this in the U.S? Not even at a Ritz Carlton. The outstanding service by Front Desk team member Dulguun, has me singing her praises. I needed a hair appliance and she said she’d handle it. Searching online she found a store near where she lives, I picked out the one I thought would do the trick, gave her cash to buy it and she bought it on her day off for me. Her can do attitude, beautiful smile, and professional demeanor are outstanding. She is a real asset to the client experience at this great hotel. Any hotel can have stunning views, comfortable beds and well appointed rooms, but it’s the people who leave a lasting impression. Dulguun did this for me. Thank you
