Beautiful place for hiking and dog sledding. Very much enjoyed the ger camp as well and the visit to the meditation temple.

You only really need a few hours here. But it was so great to see. Up close to animals and beautiful scenery was the highlight of our day. The only thing you really need is a car which can handle snow and mud to see it well.

It is really not possible to write enough superlatives about this national park. Stunning scenery, beautiful landscapes, Buddhist temples, nomadic families, countless walks and trails for hiking, Ger camps it has it all.

Whether you are going to escape the city for a few days or visiting for a longer time to enjoy the hiking trails and nomadic lifestyle.

If you are visiting Ulaanbataar for any period of time then this is a must, you will regret not visiting

Stayed in a ger at a small settlement and was amazed at how hot they get considering it was minus 10 outside. There are showers and toilets under the small restaurant where they serve simple authentic Mongolian dishes.
The walks are wonderful, passing nomads in their gers, visiting a Buddhist site as well as spending a morning with a Mongolian family. Of course the fantastic monument of Genghis Khan is a must too. If you want to get away from it all this is a lovely place.
