Some of the most friendly and helpful staff I’ve had the pleasure of coming across . Good value, centrally located and keen to help organize transport and activities. We stayed for one night and the rooms were very comfortable and relaxing.

Envoy Hostel is a social enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities to the local workforce. All the staff was nothing short of amazing. Located in a safe neighborhood of the city, the hostel provides quiet and peaceful haven to the travellers. There are many cafes and restaurants around the hostel and it offers tour programs that are informative and fun. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. I had a chance to talk to the general manager of the hostel about his vision for social impact through the hostel and I feel compelled to leave a review promoting the hostel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Phnom Penh!

It was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Friendly staff with professionalism for service, Safe and clean room and bathroom (I stayed in 6 standard shared room), perfect location in the city center. Lots of yummy restaurants nearby walking distance even a famous Aeon shopping mall. Easy to catch grab tuk-tuk in and out. Reasonable price with decent breakfast for the price. What can I ask more… Even if you ask more, Envoy will provide for you.

I stayed here twice. Once as a couple and once solo. The first time we stayed in an 6 bed dorm room it was great.

The second time I was in another dorm room next to a window from the hall which let light in through a crack in the blinds. Annoying. Also it was by the door and the toilet room. Too much traffic in that particular bed. Also an Australian guy thought he was in his own private room turning on the light and packing up at 6am. He was making so much noise that everyone had to see what the selfish @$&*# looked like.
BUT, that is not the hostels fault just an inconsiderate traveler. (Tourist actually, travelers are smarter)

The staff are awesome! The location is less busy than being on tourist row which was exactly what I was looking for. The hostel driver (Pierre) saw me and recognized from my previous stay and gave me a hug. Super nice!

Check out Jets Container Market after 6pm. It’s a 15 minute walk and has live music and good food. It’s mostly young locals who go there. Very little tourists which was refreshing and actually makes me feel slightly guilty for posting this because it won’t stay that way for long.

Also, if your a sports fan there is a sports bar called Score a few blocks away. We were able to watch the Canadian Women’s Olympic hockey team play.

Envoy Hostel is definitely one of the best hostel I've ever been.
Close to centre city, and 15 minutes by walk to the most interesting historical site in Phnom Penh: the Genocide museum. There is a kitchen, the hostel is quite, really clean and there is the best Cambodian Staff. Great breakfast for 2$ only.
You will be able to feel in a family even if you are in the other part of the world.
It has been my home away from home.
