Upon arrival we were informed that they gave away our room and we spent the first night in an overflow room which was not what we expected. The next morning the staff promptly rectified our situation and put us in a much better room. The staff were very kind and helpful. The pool is perfect for cooling down after a long day of excursions. The food was excellent according to my picky husband.
Breakfast was fair (if you manage to arrive early...). Location is good: near to minimarkets, fruit market, restaurants, promanade etc..
We had some problems upon arrival: the fridge did not work. It seems it was unplugged...!.Katlle did not work good. Changed it..Reception of the tv set was very poor. Manager said they know about the problem but cannot fix it due yo high cost. May be later...
Rooms are good, Pool awesome and overall nice hotel.
BUT, , , The Spa and massage are below average. My wife had a facial and said worst ever. No effort and left dissatisfied.
My deep tissue massage was not a massage, lade kept disappearing to serve counter and returned to just rub oil on me. No massage and she also started late and finished early.
It was a total wast of money.
This hotel is just a 3 star. Location is great. Rooms were dark, the balcony tiny and beds hard. The tour desk staff were often not there and only airconditioner in the bedroom.
Cleaning was meant to be daily but we wanted it done in the mornings and this didn't happen.
It's cheap for a reason
The room was brilliant - very clean, comfortable with all that I needed from toiletries, to hangers, to kettle, to cups, to air con, to security box and a great balcony with good views. This was a lovely room! The cleaners came everyday, clean towels given and just overall great.
The pool and staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The food was good too and all reasonably priced.
The reception staff were mostly friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
The hotel reception area is beautiful!

Polite criticism:
The lifts are not suitable for the amount of people that stay within the hotel - it takes a while to actually get to the floor you need so walking up and down the staircase to whatever floor you are at might not suit everyone.
The Spa on the 12th does not have an ambience, no smells, lights are not even on, Aircon not on. I asked for package 2 and did not receive part of the massage as the masseuse ran out of time, she opened the windows whilst doing the massage so all I heard was traffic non stop - nothing relaxing about it at all. Also found the floor under the masseuse bed dirty, not great to look at for a few hours. The Masseuse also did not have a Spa uniform, she was dressed in own clothes so really did not look or feel like a Spa.
The Tuk Tuk drivers made things sour for me as they were constantly in my face outside the hotel asking to take me anywhere even if I said no, it was non stop and infuriating. I decided to cancel my extended stay with this hotel for this reason.
However, overall, this is a lovely hotel itself and in a great location for a very good price.
