“Himalayan heights tour”

What an amazing experience! This is the second trip I've done with ride expeditions and safe to say I will be back again. Anna and Toby have the organisation of these tours down to perfection, accommodating for anything and everything. It was nice to not have to worry about a thing after a day of riding. Teaming up with local guides really enhanced the experience providing a real insight into their culture and enjoying a bit of insiders knowledge. There was always more than enough delicious food and lots of chai and coffee breaks with a view that can't even be described. The mountains are just something you have to experience to understand their beauty.
Thanks so much guys for an unforgettable experience.

“First Himalayan highs tour”
Reviewed 19 August 2016

This tour was awesome, and well organized. It was the first one by ride expeditions and they have decided to change some things for the better such as the choice of Hotels but it all just rolled out to plan anyway. The scenery cannot be experienced with Photos, you need to be there for the full effect. Riding with bike minded people again on this trip and the Cambodia ride that I also did meant we were all there for a good time which we all did.

“Sensational Riding Through The Himalayas”
Reviewed 19 August 2016

Thank you Toby and Anna for an amazing trip ... beyond any expectations I may have had and by far one of the best trips of this lifetime .. The great thing about Ride Expeditions is that they go so far and beyond in making the ride more than just a bike tour through some spectacular scenery. From the brand new Enfields, to support crew, to accommodation, side trips and just overall passion for wanting to go above and beyond in providing the best riding experience, would not do this type of travel with any other company. Well worth spending a couple of extra $ to go with people who have all the local contacts, lots of experience in the region and who are so committed to making sure the trip was better than anyone anticipated. The riding changed from sublime bitumen to more challenging roads, high passes including Khardung La, and passed through changing mountain scenery to Pangdong Lake. Loved every minute, and lining up the next one. Thanks again

“Himalaya tour - breathtaking scenery and lot lot of fun”
Reviewed 18 August 2016

Love for motorbikes and especially a classic one? If so a Royal Enfield is the choise. Brand new bikes were waiting for us in the city of Manali. Riding the Indian Himalayas for 12 days were an absolute fantastic experience. Stunning views from the very start! Nubra Valley, the city of Leh, Pangong lake, driving a bike trough mountain passes above 5000 msl is just fantastic. The scenery and all places visited have a beauty and feeling of a complete remote place. If you consider this trip I recommend to experience riding a dirt bike before coming since the roads can partly be very rough and quite demanding. Very friendly local people, good food and excellent ground service is just adding an overall very positive touch to the trip. To summarise, brand new bikes, excellent crew and professional organisation. Loved it from day one!

“The whole hog - the whole experience”
Reviewed 20 June 2016

What a amazing experience. From my first email to the time I got home, communication with Toby and Anna has been prompt and clear. Now for the ride. I will start with the low point which was my ride buddy leaving the tour early due to a injury. It was very professionally handled by Toby who accompanied him to the hospital, contacting his travel insurance and making sure that all arrangements were made. The fact that Ride expeditions is a registered tour operator made the travel insurance process easier. Now for the high points. With my ride buddy now gone, it was just me and Sophal (the Cambodian guide). Sophal is a amazing person that within a day was like riding with someone I had known for years (also a amazing mechanic, changing a flat in just 13 minutes). His knowledge of his home country is outstanding and he is more than willing to share it. The riding itself was amazing, from single track, red dirt roads, sand tracks, mud, river crossings, hand made bridges, barge crossings the list goes on and on. This ride is also a great way to see the cultural side of Cambodia (the real Cambodia in my eyes) including a few homesteads along the way. For me it was a trip of a lifetime and one I will never forget.

Hiya, thanks for taking the time to review us. I'm glad that you still had a good time and Sophal looked after you well as always. I'm happy that you enjoyed the riding and the sights Cambodia has to offer. Maybe see you both again someday for another go! Cheers for now,

Anna
