I live in Siem Reap and booked this hotel via Expedia for3 nights and paid $112. Hotel has a lift (rare at this price) and an impressive reception. It has a pool, but it's very sheltered and very shallow, best for kids and non swimmers!
The dining area is well appointed and the complementary breakfast was a strange collection of main meals, yet not much breakfast food apart fron omelette cooked to order. The bar is not promoted and actually shuts on or before 10.30 which was a shock!
Now my room...very small with a window which faced..a rendered unfinished wall! Power point failed to work and TV reception very poor.
It is no where within walking distance...no bars and a few places to eat that didnt look appetizing.
Now, this us the LOW season in Cambodia and tourism levels are low and down, so why to expensive!!
Overall it's an ok hotel with grand aspirations that they do not fully deliver.
Staff friendly and English not bad.

My stay at the Teahouse hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly and always did whatever they could to make my stay the best as possible. The breakfast was great, with pancakes and eggs cooked to your preference. I recommend this hotel.

What a beautifull and original hotel to stay in Phnom Penh ! In the heart of a real Tea house. A very zen and quiet atmosphere, engaging to relaxation with a swimming pool and vegetation in the heart of the City, very close to the Royal Palace and all Temples to visit. I loved the decoration of the rooms, they're big and very clean. The buffet breakfast is huge !! I really enjoyed my stay at Tea House and I recommand you this hotel if you are in vacation in Phnom Penh. EMMA

Beautiful and well located hotel in Phnom Penh (10mn tuk-tuk to the Royal Palace). We traveled with our two children (age 8 and 11) and stayed at the Tea House at three different occasions. Each time, we had a huge family room with two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a nice family room – definitely large enough for a family or two couples sharing. Hot water and good wifi! Drinking water provided every day.
However, we had some issues with mosquitos ! One of the bedroom we had was in the main building and no mosquito at all, but the other two were in a different building and had quite a few mosquitoes despite the room being sprayed ……. They kept on coming back ! We had our own mosquito nets so we were fine. We were there at the beginning of the rainy season, so we were expecting mosquitoes …… Just be prepared !

The hotel lobby is very nicely decorated and relaxing. The onsite restaurant offers great Khmer and Western food for lunch and dinner. The included breakfast was fantastic !!! Great choices of hot and cold food, nice French patisseries and very unusual teas to try out !

The staff is friendly and very helpful. They let us have a late check-out and stored our bags for the day (we had a night flight).

FYI, the Giant Ibis bus company will pick you up directly from the hotel free of charge.
We enjoyed our time at the Tea House Hotel and would stay there again !
