and listen to all the audio (~3hrs). It is brilliant and $3 well spent. Entrance without audio $5 but then you would miss all the crucial stories.

Here you can learn about the horrific truth of what happened in this country in a period that wasn’t too long ago. You get to see and listen to the stories as you walk through the once school blocks, turned prison.
We bought an audio guide on entrance at a good price and spent about 3 hours there learning about the first stage (second stage the killing fields) of these horrible executions.
Although not a nice experience, it is definitely something you must do whilst in Phnom Penh. To learn about their history makes you appreciate their country now even more for what they had to go through.

This was an audio guide through the horrors of the khmer rouge. Such a sad and tragic episode in camobian life. The school itself is a must see on your travels. Although it is quite upsetting so bear that in mind.

Interesting visit. Go if you can, everybody should be aware what happened to avoid it from happening again.

nothing can prepare you for the emotional roller coaster you will experience on this visit. you have to go in with an open mind and willing to learn about the dark past. to think that this happened only 4 decades ago is mind-blowing. have to visit when in PP.
