We stayed, a family of 4, in the 252 for 3 nights in July 2011. There is little to complain about our stay. This is a great choice.
As a family, a lot of hotels want to put the 2 kids in a separate room at full rate. 252 was helpful squeezing us into one room. it made it affordable and we appreciate that.
The pool/lounge atmosphere is great. We wish we had hung out there more but we were busy sight seeing. Our kids loved it. Food was pretty good, not gourmet but very tasty mix of aouth east asian and continental.
It's well situated. You'll take tuk tuk everywhere and they know where it is (mostly - still good to take a card with you.)
Good place. If you like the price, you won't be dissapointed. Here is our day when we stayed at 252 including some pictures.
