I saw all seats were fully booked when I visited but fortunately there were 2 chairs still available, so took by us. I enjoyed the set menu ''Omakase'' at $60 and ordered a couple of glasses of Japanese style beer and sake. In the end, we paid around $80/ each. We were fully satisfied with their service and all sushi dishes. I was surprised we could enjoy the real style of Japanese sushi served from counter directly from skilled chef. Everything is same as what I experienced in Japan, awesome.

Me and Genevieve, my American fiance, went there to experience authentic sushi. We know we were in PP, and we are not supposed to expect a lot in fishes, especially raw ones. BUT, this "sushi" was definitely one of the best in our life, even as a Japanese. You can tell that the chef Mr. Atsushi has super impressive techniques just by seen him cutting the fishes and beautifully wrapping it to a rice ball. The sushi starts melting in your mouth (feels pretty magical) and the little sourness balances everything. Mr. Yugo also has a hospitality that reminded me all the sophisticated services in Japan, "This is why there are so many Japanese fans in the word" we thought.
Price is relatively high of course, but it won't disappoint you for sure. Cambodia has a lot of Japanese restaurants as you noticed, so competence to survive here has been though as you can imagine. While most of the shops are giving up, Sushi Lab has found its way to survive in this market.
You need to make a reservation because it is always packed. Tough, if you give them your wishes they will propose you with a original menu or course.
Cheers!
