Hotel National is located in the central city, few meters from Republic Square, few meters from the only Mosque, St Gregory church and Vanisha flea market. Rooms are extremely clean and spacious with modern bathroom. Hi-Fi was powerful and TV was working splendidly. Can't ask for better location.

It is a 5 stars hotel with 4 stars price. There are all kinds of amenities, specially sauna and steam bath. Narek Muradyan, who served us in the concierge, spoke good English and guided us for interesting sites of the city, such as The Cascades from where one can view Mt Ararat in Turkey and the mountain (slope) where Noah's arc finally rested. It was nice of him to give us the city map which made it easy for us to go around.

We stayed 3 days during 2nd week of November, 2017. The weather was fine with partly cloudy and partly sunny all three days. The restaurants, fast take out like Shawarma, which was opposite our hotel, were cheap and very affordable.

People of Yerevan are well to do from the looks of their clothing. However, English is very rarely spoken. But they are nice and helpful.

On the last day when we were departing Yerevan to go to Tbilisi airport, Hotel National arranged a texi for us to go all the way to Tbilisi airport. The charges were US $60.00 for 2 people. It was a 6 hour ride.

My highest recommendation to visit Yerevan, Armenia and specially the welcoming Hotel National. You will not regret.

Room Tip: upper floors facing the street.

A very good location, right in the center of city. Many restaurants and shopping areas situated around. Big, comfortable and very clean rooms, with very good mattresses and bed linen. Staff is very polite, extremely friendly, helpful, and they do their best to make your stay memorable. We were celebrating my husband's birthday during our stay and the hotel sent us the complimentary BD cake and fruits with congratulations, it was a very nice surprise! We were pleased.
We will definitely stay in the same hotel every time we visit Yerevan!

I'll try to be as less emotional as possible. A very good location. 3 minutes by walk from the central city square. Lot of restaurants and shopping situated around. There is even the cigar bar next door, what is quite rare for Europe by now. Freshly build hotel. Everything are still new. Big rooms. Big baths or shower (depends on a room), but too strange there is no bide. Good mattresses and bed linen. Not too good a noise isolation, but it's typical. I rather should say a noise isolation better then in most hotels I visited. Affable staff, but not enough trained. I think it's because the hotel is too new. Good value for money.

This hotel is not really a 5star one according to international standards. Our room was spacious and clean but I was disappointed with fake flowers hanging from the balcony. When you open the window to the street, the noise doesn't allow you to fall asleep.

We tried the breakfast for one day, but it wasn't amazing and quite pricey for the offer.

Regarding the pool, the water was super chill almost making it impossible to enjoy. The sauna was alright.

We stayed here for five nights while on a group tour. Lonely Planet gave it a less than enthusiastic review so we didn't know what to expect. With the exception of street noise from their national independence holiday celebration, we were very happy with our stay. I would rank this as a four star rather than five star property, however. The location can't be better, and the reception helped us with directions and calling taxis. The food In the restaurant was good, and I had two superb massages from suzanna during my stay. The room was cleaned promptly each day, and the bed comfortable. We would stay here again should we return.
