No suprises with a nice room looking over the river and most things working.
Lack of power points as usual
Brekky was great, a real show stopper with good variety and quality
The musak they pumped down the coridors and foyer you could hear in your room. Bloody awful.
You get what you pay for and no complaints and good central location
A tad old and tired but no problems
Staff were great

Room Tip: Pay the extra and get a river room

On arrival we were given a room that smelled of damp and cigarette smoke. No complaints when we were offered a much better room. Discovered later that over half our party had to ask for different rooms because of the dampness problem. Can see how damp would be a problem in Hue in Jan/Feb but couldn't understand how it got so bad. Also hotel seems to be big on corporate bookings so, on our second night, we couldn't use the restaurant.Gave them my "must try harder" award 2012.

Room Tip: Be sure to get a room overlooking river. Road outside is noisy all the time.

Very comfortable hotel. Had a river view room and it was good to watch the boats going to and fro. Rooms spacious and staff efficient and friendly.

This was an expensive place where some services were OK and others were very poor. Hue in general is a 'pain' with too many tour groups and aggressive street vendors. The hotel will say that your room is not ready while they try to sell you trips and tours prior to check in. Breakfast is good but other meals are measley and expensive .... dont get a massage. Not that great like the rest of Hue.

We stayed here only one night and it was the only night of our trip where the wind was blowing off the river, the rain was coming down and it was cold. However, the Junior suite was very comfortable, the staff was very nice, the loud afternoon Karaoke party was finished by 6:00 (thankfully), and the breakfast very plentiful. I'm just sorry we didn't get to experience the wonderful outdoor amenities and views.

Room Tip: Try to get a view of the river
