We had to stay here for 2nights as it was part of our Tucan Vietnam tour... this is a poor choice in Hue as there are many tourist hotels in the area of a high quality.

The property presents well at reception however the room we had smelt damp, mould was present in the bathroom and under the air conditioner above the bed. The room we had also had no windows and felt confined and stale.

Slamming doors and new arrivals could be heard up the stairwell on our 2nd floor apartment well into the night because of tiled floors and echoing.

Our friends room next door smelt of smoke as well as being damp and they had no hot water on the first night.

Avoid this place if you can. The only good thing I could mention is that was it was close to the citadel, cafes and shopping but so are a lot of others

Good for a quick stop off but I probably wouldn’t stay much longer. The room was nice enough but the windows had large gaps in meaning there were lots of bugs! DMZ bar is also quite loud below so if you’re planning on a few days catching up on some much needed ‘Zzz’ then you might want to think again! That being said, it did the job, the food in the bar was pretty good, and I’d recommend the banana crepes for breakfast.

At just $20,we expected far less than we experienced. The location is excellent, the staff was very attentive, and most spoke English. Laundry service was fast and inexpensive. The bed was comfortable.

I did have a trip two Hue with my friend. After considering a lot of properties, we did decide DMZ for 1 night because of good location and highly recommended. Actually, we were disappointed at the first sight when check in. The lobby quite old and lack of light. The room equipped facilities enough but it has bad smells. Inside the room, it has another door that we can hear the sound clearly from the next room. Sometimes, someone seem to try open this door, we can not feel safe at all. Except good location and friendly staffs, I can not find any other plus points for this properties. Thanks

Very good location. It offers good free breakfast. The room is clean and well-keeping. The hotel staffs are good at English, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for those who do not want to spend big money but still have nice hotel.
