The rooms are decent. The hotel is quite cheap - value for money. Centrally located. Many eating places are within walkable distance. While the street facings rooms allow you to see the city pass by, it can be noisy.

Bongsen Annex Hotel - this is the old one. Very tired and not well kept; small room old fittings in bathroom. Smelly old too! Noisy as sound directly from street can be heard in the rooms. Overnight stay only can be tolerable.
Make sure if booking that it is the new one along Dong Khoi Street.

This hotel is a good choice for short stay in Saigon.
Near old theater and many restaurants and Massages places.
Only one negative point the breakfast opening hours.
The breakfast is from 6:00 to 9:00 but in reality noting is ready before 6:30. So 2 1/2 of time is short for traveler with fly booking.

Room Tip: Just be sure that the taxi don't bring you to the other Bong Sen hotel. This one is the second and it is called annex.

Not much to add to the title summary. The rooms are quite small but there R good restaurants nearby, a wine shop across the street and you are just around the corner for a company offering day tours of Saigon. Staff were friendly but, since I was have no knowledge of Vietnamese, communication was rather iffy.
