Troung Mai hotel is nicely situated between many shops yet on a quiet strip so the traffic isn't too loud at night. The hotel rooms are what you expect for the price that you pay ($30 per night, room sleeps 3). It is very average and will suit someone who doesn't need anything fancy or is on a budget.

Front reception staff were good and the cleaning lady for the rooms was extremely kind and helpful. There are a few things that could have made the stay in the rooms more comfortable and they are listed below:

- front door automatically locks and it is frustrating when we had booked 3 rooms and had kids running in and out.

- bathroom door has a broken lock

- wifi does not work well and we had many issues with it

- lamp in the room is also broken

Stayed: July 2015, travelled with family

The room was quit basic, but for a night or 2 this hotel is good. Bed was hard, but the room was clean. Little noisy at night, because the room was next to the road. The honking cars and scooters begin already at 5:00 in the morning. With earplugs its alright. Friendly staff, yet limited English.
