A three day trip, first day cycling around Dalat and the surrounding countryside visiting many interesting places. Then the second day cycling from Dalat to Nha Trang, mostly downhill but a couple of uphills at the start. The third day is spent out on a boat with some snorkeling. We chose the Deluxe option and the accommodation was superb. But what made the trip was our wonderful guide, Vien.

This was a great way to see real Vietnam. Tour guide Zan was knoweledgable and flexible and catered to all our fitness levels. We got to ride through villages and absorb the culture and also have time to relax in beautiful Halong bay and Cat Ba island. Would highly recommend for adults and teens

Doing a trip from Saigon to Angkor Wat. Arrangements have been impeccable. Our guides, Quanh in Vietnam, and Polo in Cambodia both had great personalities and taught us much about their countries. They were flexible in our daily schedules and always accommodating. Food menus were pre-arranged for lunch and dinner. Alwayas healthy and fulfilling. Van drivers were helpful and pleasant. This is an outstanding way to see two fascinating countries

VBTs took good care of me. They arrived on time at my hotel, allowed me to join two other tourists looking for the same ride (down to Vung Tau beach), and had all the supplies we needed in the van. Considering we were 3 visitors it was nice that they included 2 guides (cousins) so one could lead and the other follow behind. The day was hot and sunny but the ride was pleasant, only exception being that in my opinion we were on too many regular roads with some traffic. It would have been even better if there were more small dirt roads through villages. The lunch (authentic Pho) was great, and the guides were willing to stop anytime for bathroom or drinks or whatever. In Vung Tau they brought us to several monuments and temples, even up to the giant Christ statue which was quite a climb after the biking. We even had time to swim in the warm East Sea (the locals do not like to call it the South China Sea) and there was a changing/shower room (at beach 9). The ride back to Ho Chi Minh City was long as there was some traffic in the early evening, but I arrived back to he hotel happy and satisfied with the outing. Definitely recommended.

It was so great to leave the scooters in the city and get out to the country. We got a real look into the Vietnamese country side and living. The bikes were comfortable, our guide was knowledgeable, and the food was authentic.

We had 3 fantastic days with great variations of roads, trials and things to see. The very sympathetic guide Quang shared a lot of his knowledge and was fun to spend the days with.
Met with local businesses and families along the route.
We had beautiful weather too ‍♀️‍♂️

We have just completed 3 days (2 adults and a 12 year old) being guided by Quang. The riding was around 30km per day.

Quang was an excellent guide, terrific with engaging our 12 year old while travelling through plenty of great scenery. And levels of fitness can clearly be accommodated and depending on what you are after longer or shorter days.

Accommodation exactly what has been included in the itinerary - our home stay was amongst the delta life and really a valuable experience.

Bikes were well set up, Quang had many excellent stories and really made sure it was a great experience.

Back in the office Ly responded very promptly and was always helpful from when we made first enquiry to end of trip.

Well done Vietnam Bike Tours.

A friend and I did a 6 day bike tour along the Mekong Delta from Ho Chi Minh City with a personalised itinerary tailored just to us. Together with our guide Tien and driver Hien we weaved through villages, rice paddies and farms along the Mekong, met the people and ate authentic local foods - they even made sure everything was gluten free and vegetarian for me! Tien chose the perfect amount and speed of riding for our levels of experience and entertained us with his vast fund of knowledge about Vietnam along the way. Everything was incredibly well organised from the moment we were picked up from out hotel until we arrived back safely at the end of the tour. Would highly recommend!

The tour guide was a wonderful person and sport man! The place they took us was completely unexpected and wonderful also! A little bit far from Saigon, but was worth it.

The entry for this tour reads: "To experience the city by bicycle when you arrive the airport ? Take this tour of 10km ride to your hotel. It brings you different feelings of the dynamic city. Your luggage is taken care. "

That's entirely true. You get an instant immersion in Saigon as you follow a lead rider. In this case, it was just me and him. He met me at the airport and we got into a shuttle van that stopped at a gas station just outside the airport where the bikes were waiting.

You basically stay right on this guy's tail for the whole journey through Saigon's traffic-choked, noisy streets, trying to avoid getting hit by the millions (really, there are 8 million scooters in this city of 9 million) of scooters flying past, across you and behind you. Not a lot of time to contemplate the scenery. You're trying to survive this ride. You'll feel victorious once you get to your hotel, sweating and grinning. Not for everyone.

I agreed to initial steep price of $103, hoping that others would join and the cost would go down. Alas. I paid the $103, which seemed pretty steep for an experience of about 40 minutes. I recommend making sure you are in a group before laying out this kind of money.

Also, did the van driver discover my new prescription sunglasses in the crush-proof case in the back seat? Lemme know!

Dear Steven D

Thank you for your candid review. Yes, HCM city is busy with motorbikes, one of the 1st thing for tourist to learn when here is how to cross the roads. So we understood your feelings and this feedback. You're the first and important cyclist take this tour to us. Beside the bike ride, we also came along with a support van (vehicle), that you can use anytime, but not happened. You're very good cyclist! If you ride alone with guide and without support vehicle, the price is a lot lower. We do hope to improve this to next clients.

Thanks again for taking the ride with us and wish to serve you other bike tours in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand or Myanmar.

All the best,
