Room: We stayed in a standard room; served its purpose. Great water pressure and sound-proofing. The firm mattress worked for me. Too bad the Suite with Balcony was sold-out during our 1-night stay.

Location: Hanoi is very saturated with boutique hotels, coffee shops, and eating places. I must stay, the hotel is strategically located in such a way that it's near to almost everything.

Amenities: The hotel has everything but a gym, a business center, and a club lounge (hello, its a boutique hotel).

Price point: $$$

Food: Just right. I should've stayed at least 2 nights to be able tell you more about it.

*Special mention to: Jasmine, Grace, Kelvin, Anna, and Danny. You are what made our stay memorable and you didn't disappoint. From our arrival, spa booking, local area guide, and even helping with rude taxi drivers, there's just someone willing to help. I hope you guys are also well-taken care of. Please don't change

Room Tip: Try the Suite With Balcony

We had an excellent stay at Emerald Waters Hotel Trendy. As soon as we made our booking, Grace was kind enough to give us info on the activities/tours we wanted to attend in Hanoi. She gave us great deals and would definitely recommend booking through her. They are quick to reply to all your questions and really accommodate you anyway they can. We are currently staying at a different hotel in Hue and very much miss the staff at Emerald Waters. You can really tell the difference between the hospitality. They even sent someone to help us at the train station. He stayed with us and carried our luggage all the way inside. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. You will get the best service!

Good hotel. Don't expect a window though. Very comfy and clean with great staff.

Jasmine was particularly helpful and gave us tips for the area and organised our private airport transfer.

Good hotel. Our twin room (pushed the beds together) was around 40 USD I believe. Would stay again if we were to return to Hanoi.

Spa at the sister hotel is offered at 40% off. At those prices it compares favourably to others and the couples massage was very enjoyable. C. 450k dong each for 75 mins.

stayed 2 nights recently. the position in relation to the old quarter suited us. room was clean and modern. included breakfast was good. having a travel desk with someone to give suggestions and help when needed was extremely helpful. they arranged a tour which is given for free by a group from university who in exchange get to speak with you in english, it was great learning and spending time with fong and quin. they also arranged a private car to the airport which was cheaper than a taxi at $15(aus). also had a nice massage at their sister hotel across the road for 40% off for guests. the friendliness of every staff member down to the cleaners is what stays in our memories the most though. can definetely recommend as value for money. thanks to thomas, grace and jasmine at the front desk.

Room Tip: our room had a street view. dont know what other rooms offer.
