very friendly and welcoming staff members who couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. Very happy with our stay at Moon View. Local and continental breakfast available which was really tasty. Clean with all basic facilities included

Nice Hotel. Rooms are clean and lovely. Perfect room facilities. The Breakfast is also perfect. Although the rooms are a little bit small , it's fit for guests enough. But I don't like the location too much because it's far from old town.

Hotel is nice enough however found the rooms way too dark. At night it is really hard to see as there is minimal lighting and packing or looking for stuff in our luggage was nearly impossible. The shower was situated above a bath and the shower head is way too low - I am short and even for me I did not like it.

Overall the above comments are minor but the major downfall of this hotel is the staff - the level of service is somewhat mixed and the bellboy (or bellman) is quite rude. The bellboy expected a tip and as we have only arrived we had no money so tipping was not possible. When we came down the lobby, we received scowls and normally he would open the door for all guests but when he saw us he decided to leave his post and proceeded away from the door. The expectations to receive a tip is not on especially when he is already paid to do his job. I am more than happy to tip but when a staff demands it through their behaviour, it is not acceptable.

Location is ok but will need to walk about 10 minute or so to reach the old quarter. We also stayed at the Army Hotel which by far is much more superior than Moon View. Although the location is only 600 metres from the Moon View Hotel, there is more eateries and shops nearby. We only stayed at Moon View Hotel as it was part of our tour.

Hotel is bit far from the most happening old quarter. Good breakfast with different varieties. Good WiFi in rooms and lobby. Fruit basket is just two banana. So don't expect a real fruit basket from them.

We had a spacious room, staff were very helpful. Be aware of items in the room that cost extra although this was clarified in beginning. Breakfast was amazing. They had restaurant open all day and once we were running late for a tour they even packed some food for us.
Beds are comfy with ensuite and clean
