What a fabulous and beautiful experience. The cruise director, Pham The Anh (Jackie), did an outstanding job making sure all on board had a wonderful and safe cruise. The staff also did a great job. The food was delicious and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. As for Halong bay, wow, wow and wow. Words cannot describe how majestic this place is.
Very nice boat with good staff and guides. Food served in the restaurant was very nice but I wouldn't recommend the Vietnamese wine.
The accommodation was compact but it was nice to have your own balcony to sit in a watch the wonders of Halong Bay slip past.
I recommend the island stop off with the swimming, it's like swimming in a nice warm bath.
The cave system visited was very nice but it did get a little cramped with the amount of tourists present, just keep an eye on your guide and all will be well.
Squid fishing was available one night which was different.
Monkey island is also available for a visit, nice ride on a local boat.
My colleague and I went to this luxury boat for holiday,We are working for the chain of hotel in Hanoi. We realy enjoyed our stay here with realy good service that they did.
We get pick up a hotel in Hanoi with a van for only 8people inside, that was very comfortable to seat on the car more than 3hours. When we arried to Hoang Gia Habour, it was heavy rain , be appriciated with the guide who gave us an umbrella, carried our luggages, took us to waiting point. Seating there for half an hour ( it would be better if we could get st to drink from the service of Cruise). :) . Another impression that we could not forget, that the way they greet us with all of staff stading to say welcome with sound of drum. It seem never end at excellent service when they treat us a dinner with a music band, all of staff here were trained for dancing to serve the customer when having dinner, It was amazing !
All of meal was served with buffet, nothing to complain about service and accomodation. Would highly recommed ! Thank you all for your effort to make us an excellent trip.

We were a group of 8 (4 couples) who took 2 day & 1 night package (26th May). Overall experience was great, starting from our pickup from Hanoi till drop off to Airport. A special mention for our tour guide Sunny, who was of great help. He shared so much about Vietnam with us. Again, cruise is top class. I think it's the newest 5 star cruise. The rooms are really nice and clean. Food was upto the standard of a 5 star. It was great experience when shipping crew joined us over the deck later in the evening (after they finished work) for game of pool and football. Everyone was having gala time till late in the night with drinks n music on. we all enjoyed it to the fullest. Thank you so much for the hospitality.
After seeing the brochure for this cruise, after booking it with our Hanoi hotel, we were extremely excited about it. However we were a little disappointed by the transport to Ha Long Bay. We knew the journey would be 4.5 hours and we thought with the money we were paying we would have had a decent mode of transport. However, this was not the case, on moth journeys (there and back) we ended up in a small minibus (van) that was cramped and extremely uncomfortable. It was also a very long journey and if we had not taken snacks we would have been very hungry. I think this is definitely an area that needs addressing.
However, once we were on the ship the staff made sure we were comfortable and the smiles and welcome we received made up for the horrendous journey we had just undertaken. We were greeted with a drum and refreshments and then had a welcome meeting. The room we stayed in was a twin room and it was beautiful. The large windows were fantastic as they gave you stunning views. The beds were comfortable with fresh linen and the bathroom was clean, always important. The rooms also came with a little balcony which was perfect to sit and relax on in the evening. The cruise itself was well organized with activities that kept us all busy. It was quite hectic but still very enjoyable. The food on the boat was lovely. As I don't eat fish the boat catered for me separately and made sure I received a course at the same time as everyone else.
The trip around Ha Long Bay was beautiful even though it was misty. The best views happened to be in the second day of our 1 night 2 day cruise as we sailed away from the other boats. There are a lot of other cruises and junk boats around and it can feel quite crowded.
Overall it was a great experience and one I would recommend. Just try to arrange a private car or something for the journey from Hanoi.
