After a short boat trip from our junk to the island, we alighted to cmmence our climb up to the cave (not too demanding). Once at the entry to the cave you get a better idea of how big the cave is.

IT was busy when there so difficult to spend time taking in the gandeur of the cave, with many large tours groups attending with guides microphones/amplified to pass on the message.

The path wanders down from the cave through various sections before starting a climb back up to the top for the exit. There is a shop there.

Then you walk down the mountain to some more shopping opportunities before getting back on the small boat before heading back to our junk.

This cave reminds me of Jenolan Caves in the beautiful Blue Mountains of New South Wales. The only way to see this cave is by boat, we were dropped off at the entrance wharf with our guide from Pelican Cruise and after so history we began to climb to the entrance to the cave. There are 3 rooms in all and every room was different with stalagmites and stalactites all light up.

BUSY
So many tour groups. We all just followed the conga line up the steps and through the cave (and this isn’t even high season for tourists).
The cave itself was OK, but the volume of people spoiled it.

102 steps to the entrance then what they don't tell you its another eighty odd steps inside to get out before the 200 to get back down.

Pleased we visited great stalagmites & Stalactites with a great lighting displaying these.

A must is you must wear a good pair of trainers or walking shoes the reason being is that I can not believe when they made the steps and flooring that its made from smooth marble effect the floor is constantly wet so be very carful when you are walking or climbing the steps you could very easily Slip.

Hidden gem of mother nature. Surreal experience. Visited the caves in a group with my husband as a part of the activities planned by Alisa Cruise. It was like living Indiana Jones and Jumanji. Definitely want to come back.
