room was adequate only. is looking very tired now and does not reflect what you see on their website. for the price there is much, much better.
but worst of all is that they have a pair of birds near the pool (peacocks), who will keep you awake all night long. and even if you are a heavy sleeper, i guarantee the morning will find you awake at 5.00 am with the noise from them.
Looking for a value, this place offers it. If you looking for a 5 star hotel, you will not be happy here. So let's look at what they offer. First they offer a clean spacious room with air conditioning and a hot water shower. They also offer free taxi transportation in the Pattaya area. In the morning a free breakfast. They actually will cook to order at no charge. Help your self to all you can drink coffee and juice.
An site they have motorbike rentals without hassles. This is a real nice benefit for those who can drive a bike, especially in Thailand. They charged me on 140 baht for the day. This is about 5 US dollars.
Okay, your looking for a clean hotel with a reasonable price and some extras, this is the place. Honestly it does look a little worn, but still a great value.
Booked the Hotel for a 2 night stop over in pattaya with my girlfriend. Photos look good on website but hotel is pretty worn out.
I ended up only staying one night and getting a refund for the 2nd night and going elsewhere.
Rooms are spacious but my room was infested with ants, they were literally everywhere. When i complained with reception they just didnt seem too worried or overly shocked about it but did offer me another room.
I moved rooms and stayed the night, only to find the next morning that the 2nd room had ants too, not as bad as the first but still more than enough for me not want to stay there a second longer.
Complained to agoda and got a refund for the 2nd night.
Rooms also do not have hairdryers, and there are no irons or ironing boards available either.
Only good thing about this hotel is location, very close to centre.
Please AVOID this hotel.
The room is nice, quite large and comfortable, except that it doesn't have a bath - only a shower with no curtain, so the floor gets wet easily.
Wifi is free but only available in the lobby (no signal in the room). There are two PC's available in the lobby in case you don't have your own laptop.
The hotel is located at a 4 minutes walking distance from a main street. There is a free taxi service from the hotel to the nearby area, however this service is not offered on your way coming back to the hotel.
The walk-in room rate (including breakfast) was higher (1600 BHAT) compared to booking online via booking.com or agoda.com (around 1400 BHAT), so if you happen to walk-in - you are advised to check online rate before committing to walk-in rates.
Nice modern place with good size room but no real view of anything. Decent price ($45/night. during the low season). What's the problem? They just started construction of a new hotel right next door but no one on staff disclosed that when I checked in on a Friday afternoon that EXTREMELY loud construction starts on Saturday AND SUNDAY mornings(!) at 8 am. Yes, Sunday morning. Unbelievable. As you may know, Pattaya is known for it's nightlife and staying out late. So forget about sleeping in. There was no manager on duty on Sunday during my check out, so I paid the second night with my credit card (curiously I had to pay the first night in Baht up front on arrival-
now I know why) and e-mailed the management company in charge in Bangkok and, per standard, got the run around of a request of a very reasonable one night refund only of about $40. Yes, I understand this is not the US or the West and customer service standards are much different and circumspect. But they do not seem to understand the consequences of real and honest feedback from their customers in a forum like this and others. Their proposed solution is that I "come back and stay with them again". Yeah right, I live half way around the world.
Again, this construction seemed to be just underway and it appears that it will continue for many months to come. Beware.
