Thailand is a land of smiles. It certainly put a smile on my face.
We stayed at Sabai Lodge Sunset Wing. The room was big , a walk in shower and a balcony that had two chairs and a lounger so relaxing in the evening was easy outside. Take Mosquito spray though or risk being bitten often. The staff were always helpful and nothing too much trouble. Sabai Lodge (not Sabai Resort) was conveniently placed for either the beach or night life. An easy stroll to the beach with many sunbeds and sunshades. The sellers on the beach are many and can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes but smile and say no thankyou is all thats needed. Baht Taxis are cheap.. just 10baht to get you to anywhere along the beach road and beyond. Walking street is a must but only go if you are open minded!!!. I enjoyed the culture and the beer bars. The Thai Girls are beautiful and fun. Pay the bar owner 300 baht and you can have her company for the night!!!. is what I was told. We had most meals in the back streets where the thai,s ate much cheaper and an experience. So go and have a good time . Take lots of suncream too. If you are into buying goods then the Thai,s like to offer up a high price first. You must barter with them as its fun and they like a bargain too. Copys are widely available especially watches and the designer tshirts. Be aware though somethings you think are genuine are not. Enjoy !!!!
