Easy, local, clean and safe. Quiet but the hussle and bussle is only minutes away. The rooms are a bit dated and the bar Isn't the best but you don't go to Thailand to stay in your room. This is a great hotel to base yourself and take yourself off from.

Room Tip: My room by the small pool was great. I came straight out my door and onto a lounger.

Fantastic location close to the beach and bars which suited as as thats why we were there. The staff at sabai lodge were all very friendly and welcoming and I really dont have any faults. Basic but it was everything we needed.

The room was bit disappointing in that there was a restaurant prep area behind it that was very noisy, but apart from that it was good. It was clean and housekeeping serviced it properly every day. The free bottles of water every day was most welcome.
There was small mini bar in the fridge. The shower always had plenty of hot water and the aircon was perfect.
The Sabai Lodge backs onto another Sabai so there were three pools to chose from, and they were all great with lots of sun loungers.
Breakfast was included in our package not sure what it costs but really good choice and best ommlettes I had in a month in Thailand.
The poolside bar was handy but not really cheap. The food there was pretty good.
Pattaya is sex capital of Thailand so you have to be prepared for some sights you wouldn't see at a Australian hotel. The majority of the customers were older men, especially Poms, that had purchased a companion for the length of their stay. Some had been visiting Sabai for decades. There were young guys with ladyboys having Tequila for breakfast by the pool. Having said that it is very peaceful place and good value.

Room Tip: Best to pay the extra for a room by the pool. The smaller darker rooms towards to restaurant wouldn't be nearly as nice
