I am writing this review having returned from the Dusit Thani yesterday. This review takes into account that we are in a post covid world with people returning to Holiday after two or more years of restrictions. The hotel is still in the process of returning to the very high standards that it has always set. People have to remember that every organisation in the world has had to make changes to its operation after the events of the last two years. We found all interaction with staff to be of the highest standards and with their continued hard work the Dusit experience will be even better in the months to come. The general manager Thomas is definitely the man to take this hotel forward. His attention to detail is superb , he treats guests and staff with respect , is approachable and listens to constructive ideas and sometimes criticism with the perfect amount of understanding. But more importantly he acts on the feedback or explains the reasons why something may not be instantly achievable. The real test of a hotel is the ability to provide a guest experience that results in repeat business. This hotel thrives on repeat customers. The location is the best in Pattaya with easy access to everything Pattaya has to offer. The entrance lobby and Cascade area are fantastic. We have previously used the normal guest rooms and would recommend the sea view rooms over the garden rooms.
Room service currently has restrictive hours which will obviously change as things return to norma
The standard of cleanliness is very high.
Pool areas are under constant revision and will improve with the delayed arrival of new pool furniture but are still more than adequate.
