Just back from another great stay at this wonderful hotel. Can't thank Imee and her lovely staff enough for the way they looked after us. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year

The Dusit Thani Pattaya is situated in a great location with plenty of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff at this hotel are great, always smiling and keen to help. We had a great sea view room. Our maid (unfortunately, can't remember her name) was so sweet, never forgot to bring our bucket of ice every evening and always with a smile. Thank you

Who ever cares to listen, Dusit People our the Best on the Planet, if sometimes things go wrong JUST ask and they will do everything in there power to make it Perfect. I'm a 30 year Customer and I would never think of going anywhere else if there is a Dusit Property in Town

The rating of this review is down to the issue we had on this occasion.

The location is great right at the North End of Pattaya, Beach Road is to the side of the hotel and there are plenty of Baht Buses to take you to the centre of Pattaya and the entertainment areas.

There are plenty of shops, laundry’s, restaurants right outside the door of the hotel.

Having stayed in a Cabana Room at this hotel in 2014 on this occasion we decided we would book a Club Grand Room which is on the 08th Floor.(Top Floor)

Check in took a matter of minutes and even though we were early our room was ready and our luggage was there a couple of minutes after us.

The staff are lovely, professional and do a great job.

Staying in the Club Rooms gives you a choice of restaurants for Breakfast, The Peak Chinese Restaurant or Cascade the main restaurant. We ate in both for breakfast. Cascade is very busy and when it’s very busy service for hot drinks can be hit and miss.

Our preferred restaurant for Breakfast was The Peak Chinese Restaurant it was lovely, it had a good selection of hot and cold items, was quieter and had a more relaxed atmosphere.

The all day tea and coffee and soft drinks in the lounge was great unfortunately that doesn’t include around the pool and several guests were taking drinks from the lounge to have by the pool even though it asks you not to.

The Club Grand Room was large with the bathroom and clothes storage area and safe all in an open plan style. The bedroom was separate and large.

There was a good selection of channels on the TV.

Evening Cocktails starts at 1730. The area it is held in is not big enough for the amount of guests that descended to so additional chairs have to be put out around the lifts and anywhere else just to try and get them in. People start sitting down at 1700 just to make sure they can get a seat.

On our first night we had plans but thought we would have a quick drink in the lounge before going out. As we walked into the lounge which is also where the lifts are, people were standing up so we decided not to bother and went straight out.

The following evening we decided we would see if Evening Cocktails was worth it when we walked in at 1710 there was already a few other people there who told us you have to get here early for the Free Drinks.

The selection of food and drink on offer was good.

We didn’t go to evening Cocktails again as we couldn’t be bothered with the time restraints it placed getting there early to get a seat.

The hotel also holds special events, weddings, parties etc which we knew about from our previous stay. On this occasion a letter was left in the room stating that one of the pools would be closed for two days for a special event.

This was not a problem as there are two large pools anyway so there is plenty of room.

The wedding started around the Chaba Pool in late afternoon and then moved into one of the hotel Function Rooms for some unknown reason the hotel had allowed the wedding to have all night music until 0600.

A complaint was made at 0300 to the duty manager which the music then got louder. I was told it will be going until 6 am.

If you were in the wrong part of the hotel as we were we could here people talking and the music 8 floors down which resulted in a night of no sleep.

I complained to the Club Floor Manager who apologised and said she would be speaking to the management team. Even while I was speaking to the Club Floor Manager others were also complaining.

As I had complained about the noise I was told I wouldn’t have to pay for that night but they would move our room as the wedding would be going on again for a second night and it should be slightly quieter if they moved us but the management team would speak to the organisers about the noise.

At the thought of possibly having another disturbed nights sleep and the fact outside events seem to be more important than guests who are just staying in the hotel we decided to cancel our reservation we then moved to a hotel in South Pattaya.

I have no problems with a hotel having outside events in the hotel but to not put a time restriction on music so guests can get some sleep and enjoy there own holiday surprises me.

I will not stay in this hotel on my next visit to Pattaya if you are considering staying at this hotel don’t bother booking a Club Room it isn’t worth the extra money. The amount of people at the Evening Cocktails it doesn’t compare to Club Floor Access at other hotels I have stayed in around the world.

The hotel location is great, the staff are great, the facilities are great. It seems to be guests staying in the hotel are second best to Functions taking place.

im currently staying in this hotel for few days, im pregnant 4 months plus n i have another kid who is 4 years old, i ordered using food panda for my son’s lunch, and the delivery guy was stopped at hotel security gate , they called me n askd to walk to gate outside to collect the food, i askd for favor to bring the food to outside lobby as gate is quite far n its hot sun outside n i had to walk with my kid, but the manager Pramote and receptionist waraporn did not help. , they never write such rule in regards of ordering food outside , even if its their rule , they could have helped once but staffs were so rude , i have never seen such bad service anywhere else

With regard to the incident of delivery of outside food to hotel, I understand that our Director of Rooms, Khun Pramot was willing to collect the food items for you after explaining that we do not allow delivery of outside food but you finally decided to collect them yourself.

I apologise for the misunderstanding but like any hotels or restaurants, I will not be allowed there and have food from other establishment delivered/served to me. We do have an elaborate in-room dining menu plus 3 restaurants and a very popular pastry/bakery gourmet corner for your dining convenience.

Was here for a conference. Large clean rooms with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. The pool is very inviting. Breakfast has quite a choice of food to suit every palate. And since the property is large, there is a lot of walking that one has to do to get from your room to anyplace within the hotel. Would recommend this property if you are looking at a conference or at an event for a group.

Room tip: Sea facing rooms.
