Stayed at Tsix5 for a couple of nights, as part of the iternary by Thomas Cook, India for the 11 days Thailand, Malaysia & Singapore excursion. The hotel seems to be new and all the furnishings and fittings bear this out. The rooms follow themes, according to the month of the year.
But one striking thing is : there is a tub at the back of the room, separated by a 5 feet high counter. Washbasin is also in the room. Good for honey moon couples. In fact for all couples. But, the hotel does not stop here. Even the toilet seems to be part of the room with the toilet and shower doors of half heights. One can smell & hear the toilet actions. No honeymoon couple will go to that extent.
The breakfast is good and for the Thomas Cook group, the hotel had arranged veggie items in the buffet too. The Chinese items were prepared nicely and the fruit spread was good though the papaya tasted bland.
The hotel is far from the beach and seems to be some distance away from the happening street of Pattaya. However, there are a couple of massage parlours opposite to the hotel as are a couple of money changers who give good exchange rates. One can change USD to Thai bhat at these counters. The rates are competitive.
Overall, a good stay in a modern hotel located a bit offish from the happening areas.

We visited this hotel in November 2011 for a short vacation. The hotel is part of a bigger chain hotels closed by. Its situated in the Na-Klua area which is quite local but not too far from the usual tourist area of Pattaya. If you stay here, you will need your own transportation because it is quite deep in the sub-street and could take quite a long time to walk out to the main street. Public transportation in the sub-street could be found if you're lucky enough to get on going back from dropping someone else off.

The hotel decor is pretty nice, but nothing fancy. Service is very minimal to almost none, but to be honest, we didn't need or missed anything. When we call the front desk, they are very courteous and helpful. The swimming pool is small and out in front next to the road, so not much privacy.

The room facing the front of the hotel has no view to speak of. While the room across the hall can see the ocean at the distance.

What we didn't like is the hotel rooms air conditions are not turned on and once we entered the room, it was like entering a sauna. We booked from Agoda with good rates so we get the front facing rooms which I figure are cheaper anyway. Full afternoon sun heats eat up the room pretty good! The toilet part is separated from the shower. The outside wall of the toilet and shower has no air vent, the outside wall is thing sheet of glass. So in the afternoon, be warned that it will be extremely hot in there!

Another down side to the toilet, bath and shower are that who ever you shared the room with, you need to be very close to. The bath is fully out in the open. The toilet door is thin blurred glass with opening below and above. The shower also has blurred glass door without the top/bottom vents. So if you're sitting there doing your biz, your roommate can see you, hear you and ... smell you. Not good idea for newly dating couples.

Otherwise, the breakfast is quite good, the rooms are very clean and the bed are super comfy. You can also take a shuttle to the bigger hotels with nice swimming pool close by which is a plus. The beach there is not nice so no need to compare to anything near.

Room tip: Need own transportation. Get rooms facing the back of the hotel for better view and less heat. Use the facility of the hotel down the road using the free hotel shuttle service.

the hotel property is really nice and the restraunt is also huge. the rooms are quite nice infact theyre very spacious, the size of the bathroom is as big as d size of rooms in budget hotels. the walls of the hotels have different colours in different rooms. just across the hotel is a money exchange, massage parlor, 7/11 and in walking distance there are quite a few bars and restraunts. the breakfast spread is also nice with a live omlette and waffle counter. but the beach is quite far and one has to take a taxi. swimming pool is in d same hotel but for gym one has to used d next hotel (zign hotel ) as they are owned by d same owner.

Cleanliness was unsatisfactory as hairs could be found on bolsters and towels even after housekeeping. Rooms were not up to standard and swimming pool and gym facilities are located in another hotel
