It's not very good actually. it all seems false and contrived. Those aspects of Thai culture that are shown can be seen in real life. It seems to get busier after 2pm.

The market itself was very nice and traditional. However, the ‘foreigner’ entrance is poorly organised and is very, very hot. Further, I’d recommend not charging people to use the toilets as this puts them in a sour mood especially when foreigners need to pay to even enter the market.

We are a group of 10, spent 1 day in Pattaya floating market, the scenery so nice, many choices for the tourist both local foods and souvenir shop. People are friendly but one thing they need to look into immediately, the rest room next to the entrance, you can smell it badly, we have to pay for the restroom but it does not meet our expectations.
If I have a chance to come back next year, will choose the Pattya to stay.

This is definitely worth a visit, despite the 200 Bhat per person minimum entrance fee. (This climbs though if you add the extras of the row boats etc)

Bargain on spending a few hours here as there are a great many shops to explore (all with good prices), a number of unique curios and a lot of local food.

Something to note when leaving is that you need to walk down the road about 150m before Grab Taxi or Uber will collect you as there have been incidents with some misbehaving taxi drivers who don’t like competition... walking is extremely safe however, so Uber or Grab Taxi are still great ways to get around.
