Sited on the brow of Ta Phraya Hill on the road which connects Pattaya to Jomtien, the Manhattan, completely renovated sits only a few metres from Mata Hari.
Essentially, the Manhattan is a 5 star restaurant. The decor is good, the ambience soft and friendly, especially when the singer (only on Saturday and Sunday nights) has finished.
It is clearly evident that the staff have been expertly trained - they don't hover-but maintain a close watch from a distance, so that if you look in their direction -they're on the way. Silver service and once again - the training shows.
The menu is in a beginning stage but offers some real gems.
Since I left Rhodesia in the ghastly hands of Robert Mugabe, I have not tasted such superb steaks.
