“Gr8 Hotel, comfy on all pockets, with everything to your satisfaction”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2008

This hotel is truly a fabulous resort is situated on the Jomtien headland, having the first and highest seaside tower with a revolving restaurant. Located on The East Coast of Thailand; 240 metres high, its truly remarkable, to go to the topmost revolving restaurant just for a peek, you had to pay something like 100baht which really is well worth it.
The rates of the hotel were really a steal, you won't belive it but you have to, cause when i got there, i too couldn't belive it. It was literally CHEA with a "P" ... CHEAP....
That was not all, with a room booking you get a free ride on any of their amusement rides in the complex, either the overhead mini sky train, or the Tower Shot, which makes you feel that your gonna be in heaven soon ;) lol...
My excitement didn't stop there, checking in the room, got me like OMG... was a kinda suite i never thought it possible for me to live in, and thats not all, a huge bed with the best matters i've ever slept in , in any hotel, gr8 air-con, amazing bathroom, and for the unforgettable, huge ground to cealing glass door barrier which would let me out to the balcony..... go to your balcony, look straight down, the best view of about 5 swiming pools in the complex and look straight, the best view of the bay of Thailand.
Wake up in the morning, and at the lobby will be laid a wonderful wide-spread gala american breakfast..., eat that, and i bet , you won't feel hungry all day until tea time late evening....
Get out of the hotel to begin your day, your close to everything, the worlds greatest beach, an amazing Royal Garden Plaza, (where shopping is real cheap) along with the "Ripley's believe it or not" extension out there, making it an amazing hangout.

Overall, an amazing amazing Hotel, if i were going again to Pattaya, i'd head straight there....so, what you waiting for, get packing, oh yeah, n don't worry bout the rate, its very affordable...

I first stayed at this resort 12 years ago, and back then it was brand spanking new - and somewhat deserted as I remember.

Well now it is overrun by package groups and Russian tourists (nothing against Russians - it just means that Russian is spoken more readily than English), and well the property has become decidedly shabby.

There is no doubt that they have invested significantly in the theme park and the water park and the tower which were all new since my last visit. But the rooms are just not up to scratch any more. It is not clear from the web-site I booked on that there are two buildings - although in looking at the web-site now, I can see that clearly in the picture but no mention of it in the text. We were in Building B.

We had booked a 2-bedroom apartment as we were a couple and a single travelling together. Unfortunately they were not 2-bedroom apartments - rather 1-bedroom apartments with beds also in the living room. What was worse was that the wall between the bedroom and the living room was only a three-quarter wall, and so there was no privacy. We looked at a number of these before realising that they were all the same. So if you want privacy, take 2 single rooms.

The breakfast is plentiful but somewhat ordinary. I couldn't bring myself to eat anything on the last day it looked so unappealing, and hey you really have got to be unlucky to find bad food in Thailand.

Staff were pleasant although only one appeared to speak English.

  • Liked — Closeness to Jomtien Beach
  • Disliked — Shabbiness, lack of air con in the restaurant, two separate buildings
