On arrival at the hotel we checked in two rooms, 2adults, 2children in each room. 1000baht per room incase of any breakages. We were given the keys and pointed in the direction of the lift. On arrival to the rooms, one room had a double bed (large). And the other room had a double and a single. So we had 5 beds between 8. We called down to reception who sent two girls up, they left and returned with another key incase we wanted to change room, the other room had 3single beds in, we tried to explain to the male on reception, who thought himself a bit of a diva by all accounts, however he became very aggravated and told us if we wanted extra beds it would be 600baht per bed per night. We contacted the holiday provider as what we had received was not what we booked. However they were unable to help as the hotel had been booked by a third party for them. No one really wanted to help unless there was money involved. We used the pool once however it was full of men in full clothing when it clearly states swim wear for hygiene reason, we witnessed the pool attendant trying to tell one of them he could not go in in boxer shorts, the rest of the holiday we paid to swim at the twin palms resort which is lovely. The Golden Sea hotel itself is out of the way and not in a nice area. I would never return here again. No customer service skills, and not much else going for it. Stear clear!
