We visited this restaurant out of curiosity as we were staying at a nearby hotel. Located on a cliffside this restaurant provided magic views of the water & Islands. The decor was pleasant & relaxing & the staff were good. Unfortunately, both of our meals were the worst we have ever eaten in Thailand - bland, brown & tasteless. What a disappointment!

This is the all-day dining restaurant at the Conrad Koh Samui. It is a lovely restaurant for all meals with top notch service and a view overlooking the water some 200 meters below. Inside and outside dining is offered.

Breakfast is buffet style with a custom, a la carte menu of egg dishes that are all deliciously prepared. Lot's to choose from Western style eggs, cereal, and all types of bread and danish, to Thai and Asian offerings. Coffee is good! Fresh juices.

Dinner offers an extensive menu of Thai, Asian, and Western fare. The tuna-avocado, salads, and 20 different starters, several soups like Tom Yum, and a dozen different main dishes.

The setting at night is romantic with soft lighting, nice background music; just a lovely spot! Prices are moderate. Wine is a bit expensive.

Staying here during a monsoon.....Only thing to do is eat!
Arrived very late after a delayed take off from Bangkok.
Staff very friendly and accommodating we had a lovely meal even though the Restaurant was Closed!!
The Authentic Thailand set menu was so good we chose it again on our second night! Food is presented well and is lovely and fresh with just the right amount of spice.
Breakfast is plentiful with some lovely made to order options.
Cappuccino is hot and strong!
2 nights gone and 5 to go looking forward to some better weather and more wonderful meals.

We rented a scooter and rode to the Samui Conrad for lunch.

I think most people normally take security and parking attendants for granted - but these gents were extraordinarily helpful. They helped us park the scooter and clear the traffic for a safe ride up the hill (it's a very steep climb up on a scooter) and retrieve the scooter the moment they saw us walking down. Top notch service throughout.

Once we got there the view was breathtaking (see picture). I don't think any camera can capture that view it's just unreal to see the 5 island from the reception and Restuarant.

The place itself is very tastefully designed (modern Thai decor) and spotless. However we felt the menu was a bit underwhelming and the food itself very average even in fancy plating.

I'll come again as the place is a feast for the eyes but until the menu is changed I'll stick with a beer or a glass of wine.
