The restaurant name came from the fact that the building was British consulate in 1921. It has history and character, and serves excellent Thai and Indian cuisine. On a not too hot night, the second floor balcony makes for an ideal place for savoring the food. It's a nice touch to receive the menu in an envelope marked "Top Secret".
