“Clean. Peaceful. 5 star service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2012

The place was exactly what I needed at the end of my trip. It doesn't matter if you travel as a couple, a family or on your own, Rimping Village is still a great place to stay.

It's a boutique hotel with excellent staff. The room was clean, the pool and other areas were also spotless. From the morning to late afternoon, you will see their staff constantly sweeping, cleaning, dusting... And they do it with a smile. Reception staff were all pleasant and helpful.

The pool looks really good, there are many sunbeds and clean towels. There is a big old tree next to the pool, it gives you the feeling you are staying in a big house rather than a hotel.

If you want to plan your tours or book taxi/tuk-tuk, their staff will recommend the best places and services in town. They also offer DVD hire at no cost. The guy was very cheeky, he asked me "Do you want some chick flicks? Get these."

I will definitely come back.

I don't write that much reviews...you know, busy busy not much time...but for this one I need to make an exception, simply because the service and the staff were soooooo amazing. I have travelled for over 20 years, stayed in scratch to 5 stars but have never felt so welcome and so well treated as here. Don't doubt for even a second, an absolute charming must visit. Go and enjoy! Greetz from Bruges, Belgium to Rimpling Village Immy and colleagues and thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Room Tip: We took a deluxe but the 'regulars' are cool too

Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. Lovely pool and beautiful rooms.

Buffet breakfast was basic but tasty, and they did cook eggs and meats fresh.

We found this place on Trip Advisor and we agree with most of the other reviews written on this place . A wonderful to spend a few nights and we were well looked after as we were on our Honeymoon . Clean and spacious rooms , nice hotel layout and kind hotel staff all made this a pleasant experience .

We stayed in a room around the pool and was very pleased with both the room and the hotel itself. We didn't really have time to sunbathe for long but did enjoy the pool area and it seemed an ideal place for families.

The restaurant was excellent for both variety and quality at breakfast and when we ate there in the evening. The staff were courteous, efficient and charming at all times.

We had only 2 areas for concern. The first was mosquitoes which I think is due to being close to the river. The hotel will give you a spray in the restaurant area if they are irritating, and will also spray the room for you which is a necessity. We bought a can of stronger spray from the supermarket to ensure there were no problems. The other minor area of concern was that the room was full of furniture, but no space to put your things, so we left most items in our suitcases.

We also borrowed bikes from reception and enjoyed riding around the local area and into Chaing Mai itself.

Overall highly recommend this hotel
