“Without Doubt The Best Accomodation in Chaing Mai”

I really enjoy staying here and hence my second stay. It has everything you could want including a front load washing machine so none of those trips to find a laundry. The kitchen was perfect for cooking with all you could need. Check in the cupboards before you go shopping as like me you leave items behind for others to use. The wifi speed puts my high speed internet in Australia to shame. An amazing view to the mountains. I could even see The temple on the mountain lying in bed. Neil and Kiki do a great job at reacting to any questions you may have and are always happy to hear any feedback in order to improve what is already top notch.

“Smart, modern, well equipped and friendly place to stay”

We stayed 2 months in this apartment and found it exceeded our expectations.
All the fittings and equipment are of a high standard and everything we needed was there. The owner is friendly and very helpful and responds quickly to any question or problem. The Shine gym, swimming pool and sauna and roof top garden are excellent.
Convenience shops are very close. The nigh market area and supermarket is a short tuktuk ride or 30 minutes walk. The Shine has secure parking for motor scooters or car.
Road noise at night was noticeable but not a problem.
A home away from home.

“Who needs a hotel when......?”

The location of the Condo was excellent, a leisurely 10 min walk to the famous night bazaar and other major attractions of the city, Thapae Gate and night market, Ping River and all the restaurants and bars that Chiang Mai has to offer. Close by, there is quaint little coffee shop directly opposite the Condo and 50 yds away your usual 7/11, small shopping precinct with Pharmacy, Coffee Shops and Art Shops, walk a little further and you will find typical thai restaurants where a good Chicken & Oily Rice plate will set you back all of 35 Baht.
The Condo itself was immaculately presented, we were met by Kiki in reception who showed us around and showed us all of the facilities. The swimming pool was perfect in every way, sun if you wanted it and plenty of shade, it was 41 degrees whilst we were there !! There is a gym with Cross Trainers and Treadmills and a set of dumb bells, there is also a sauna if you want more heat !!! Three Air Con units keep you nice and cool whilst you are indoors. There are two balconies both with stunning views of the night time skyline of the city and mountain views of Doi Suthep.
We had a reason opting to stay at The Shine this trip as we are looking to purchase in the near future and this is a great way to experience the living style of staying in a condo.
One of the added benefits of staying in a condo over a hotel is that you are not expecting the morning maid service knocking on the door after a exhuberhant evening the night before although there are maid services available at the Condo should you wish to employ them.
There is 24 hr security and the guards are extremely friendly and courteous.
Will definitely be going back.
As a final note, we have been travelling to Chiang Mai for over 15 years now staying in all stars of hotels, i would certainly recommend anyone to try the Condo option over a conventional hotel.

Liked best: Location & Freedom
Liked least: The one high flying Mosquito that met me on the balcony every night whilst having my night cap. I will add no mosquitos got into the Condo.

Thks for the nice review Mark, spot on!
This is actually how I got into the rental biz, hotels, particularly in Chiang Mai are very pricey for weekly or longer stays.
The condo option is the way to go.
Welcome back any time Mark!
Cheers
