We stayed here for 5 nights and found the place to be basic but fine. The owner was very nice and always helpful with recommendations r.e. trips etc. We booked one day tour and transport to Chiang Rai through JJs. Rooms lacked some privacy, noise from corridors at night carried into the rooms and vice versa. There was a pleasant reading balcony and local dog fights below provided good entertainment.
The owners here were incredibly nice. The food was just delicious - one of the best pad thais in Chiang Mai, and the English Roast on Sunday was amazing (I don't know if this is a weekly thing or if it was a special occasion). The rooms are very basic and the beds a bit squishy, but the price was way too good for that to matter. The internet was included with the room and it worked for me all the way on the 3rd floor, although my boyfriend had a lot of trouble with it on his laptop while on the 3rd floor. We stayed there for nearly 3 weeks and never had a problem.
